Red Emperor Boss — Complete Guide
The Red Emperor is the newest super boss added in the August 1, 2026 Sea 3 Expansion. It spawns in the Black Throne in Land of the Gods (Third Sea) and is the only source of the Gryphon sword and Emperor Cape accessory. Unlike every other boss, its spawn timer speeds up every time any super boss dies anywhere in the world — making it the ultimate endgame farm target.

Requirements
- Level 4,200+ to access Third Sea (via Gatekeeper in Flower Capital)
- Access to Land of the Gods (Third Sea)
- Decent endgame build — Red Emperor is the strongest boss in the game and hits hard
How to Spawn
- Travel to Land of the Gods in Third Sea and enter the Black Throne room
- Check the on-site countdown timer — “Boss spawns in 4:00:00.. (reduced by 0 minutes)”
- The timer is reduced by 10 minutes for every super boss killed worldwide, up to a maximum reduction of 2 hours — coordinate with your server to kill other super bosses (Zenith, Dragon, Dough, etc.) to speed up the spawn
- When the timer hits zero, the sky and fog turn blood red as the Emperor descends, with the message “The sea trembles.. a king approaches.”
- Defeat him to claim your rewards

- Gryphon (2.5% drop rate) — the mythical sword inspired by Red Hair Shanks, also craftable at Doran the Forge
- Emperor Cape (5% drop rate) — top-tier accessory
- 2× Blade Fragment — used to craft Third Sea swords
- 2 levels, 50 gems, 50,000 Beli guaranteed
- Title “Dominion Over Red” — awarded on your first kill
Tips
- Farm with a group: Every super boss death worldwide speeds up the timer — on a coordinated server you can chain other super boss kills to cut the wait down to ~2 hours
- Kill priority: Since the reduction applies globally, take turns killing easier super bosses (Enma, Dual Swordsman) to accelerate Red Emperor spawns
- Gryphon is rare: At 2.5% it can take many kills — the guaranteed 2 levels/50 gems/50k Beli per kill makes repeat farming worthwhile regardless
- Watch the sky: The blood-red sky effect announces his arrival — be at the Throne room when the timer nears zero
